Bringing live folk music to the heart of Reading for 30 years. We have guest nights and singers' nights.
A typical guest night starts with floorspots from club regulars and visitors, followed by a set from our guest artist. Then there's an interval, which is a chance to buy raffle tickets and books from the club, meet the guest and buy CDs. The evening resumes with more floorspots, followed by a second set from the guest.
Singers' nights and theme nightsPerformers of all standards are welcome. Sing a song, play a tune, or just come to listen and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Our venue is the hall at Watlington House, which you approach from the south side of South Street close to the junction with Watlington Street.
On the door £6 for guest nights and £2 for singers' nights.
Readifolk sessions are from 8pm to 10.30pm on a Sunday night.
